Igniting Your Writing Spark Writing Workshop

This workshop will be offered as part of the Pittsburgh Book Festival—please see their website for more information on times, and how to sign up!

The Scribbler’s Den invites writers to reconnect with the why behind their writing. Writing, revising, and publishing can cause us to become focused on the wrong things and we forget what pulled us into the story, poem, or narrative we’re crafting. This interactive workshop will feature discussion and worksheets that will prompt participants to rediscover the magic in their own writing. This workshop is perfect for writers who are feeling burnt out or frustrated with a particular piece they’re working on. Pencils and paper will be provided to participants if needed, but they are invited to scribble down their answers in their own notebooks as well. There will be four questions presented and both small and large group discussion will follow each question.
